[PC/PS4/XONE] “Paradise Lost” - Host is stuck in permanent black screen if he dies and gives up before their Friend for Hire starts the cinematic.
  • Description: The Host will remain in a black screen when he dies before the Friend for Hire starts the cinematic.
  • Workaround: Quit the title and reload.




[PC/PS4/XONE] “Casualties of War” - Error message with the code 'Trapper-F5DCB8ED'' is displayed after completing the quest. -
  • Description: This issue occurred on skipping the Region liberation cinematic and Father's Jacob Eulogy.
  • Status: FIXED
  • Workaround: None known





[PC/PS4/XONE] “The Hero’s Journey” - The quest does not update from "Exit the helicopter" to "Secure the area" after leaving Larry's helicopter.
  • Description: After destroying all 5 antennas and returning with Larry to his compound, the quest may not update from "Exit the helicopter" to "Secure the area" if the player exit before Larry has finished descending.
  • Workaround: Reload the checkpoint.



[PC/PS4/XONE] “Special Delivery” - “Trapper-1C07B734” error is displayed when failing the quest.
  • Description: If the Quest “Special Delivery” is failed, the player will receive a “Trapper-1C07B734” error and will be returned to the Main Menu.
  • The Quest can be failed by:
    1. Destroying the car with explosives
    2. Killing both players, Host and Friend for Hire
    3. Letting the time expire
  • Workaround: None known.



[PC/PS4/XONE] “Air Raid” - The Host is stuck in mid-air and the Friend for Hire gets stuck at infinite loading screen when they venture too far apart from each other.
  • Description: In coop, if the host and client take different planes to complete the quest and they get too far apart, the host may get stuck in midair and the Friend for Hire may get stuck in an infinite loading screen.
  • Workaround: Host fast travels to any location to resume gameplay. The Friend for Hire will need to terminate the title and rejoin.



[PC/PS4/XONE] “Where it All Began” – In co-op, there is no warning letting the Host know he is getting too far apart from their Friend for Hire.
  • Description: The warning does not appear on the Host screen during the Apocalypse. It can cause confusion about the reasons the mission failed, as a too big distance between the co-op partners will fail the mission.
  • Workaround: Ask your Friend for Hire over voice-chat to inform you if he sees the warning.



AI

[PC/PS4/XONE] VIPs do not react when being hurt by fire.
  • Description: VIPs do not react when being hurt by fire, and stay inactive until they catch fire or the fire dies out.
  • Status: Will be fixed in future Title Update.
  • Workaround: None



[PC/PS4/XONE] Sometimes NPCs suddenly spawn after celebration cinematics
  • Status: Reproduced, no info required.
  • Workaround: None



[PC/PS4/XONE] Adelaide hovers over the water surface without proceeding to the alternative landing point she creates when she goes to a waypoint that is located in deep water.
  • Status: This is as designed.
  • Workaround: The player can get around it by simply giving another waypoint to Adelaide, at which point she will resume flying.



Gameplay

[PC/PS4/XONE] Player spawns far away from the Cult outpost when he dies while liberating it using a helicopter
Status: It is as designed. There are no valid spawn point in the air so the player is spawn in the last valid one, before he took off.

[PC/PS4/XONE] Player loses his main weapon when returning to his campaign if he picked a main weapon from the ground during the host's campaign
  • Status: It is as designed. Picking up a weapon does not save the game.
  • Workaround: To keep the weapon, player has to save the game manually or trigger a hard save (quest, liberation, etc.)



[PC/PS4/XONE] [COOP] The player's parachute is invisible in third person view when he respawns in the air.
  • Status: Reproduced, no info required.
  • Workaround: None


[PC/PS4/XONE] [COOP] Friend for Hire is stuck on death screen if is killed before the Host, and then a Gun for Hire revives the Host before the Friend for Hire.
  • Status: Reproduced, no info required.
  • Workaround: None



Localization

[PC/PS4/XONE] Chad's subtitles are no longer forced to ON when you speak to him with the subtitle option set to off.
  • Description: It is impossible to understand Chad says when the subtitles are OFF because he just mumbles unintelligibly.

Far Cry Arcade

[PC/PS4/XONE] Players see the error message “Bookworm-9F33D6D1” because of map download timeout.
  • Status: FIXED
  • Workaround: None



[PC/PS4/XONE] Players are stuck indefinitely in the loading screen.
  • Status: Under investigation.
  • Workaround: Exit the game by pressing Alt+F4



[PC/PS4/XONE] Player lose the connection to the Host (Bookworm-2CEA2BDC) - High ping kick.

  • Description: If a player spawns, open pause menu and choses “respawn” and select a different loadout than the initial spawn, the player can end up with the wrong loadout.

[PC/PS4/XONE] The textures are in low resolution in certain areas of the user-generated maps.

  • Description: The North and East edge portions of any map have low res texture when playing them in the Arcade, but look fine in the Editor.
